इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त लेखक ओंकार नाथ पिछले 15 वर्षों से विविध समाचार पत्र पत्रिकाओं में स्वतंत्र विषयों पर नियमित लेखन करने के अतिरिक्त दिल्ली में सिविल सेवा से जुड़े अभ्यर्थियों का मार्गदर्शन दे रहे हैं। अतीत के माध्यम से वर्तमान को समझना इनका एक प्रिय विषय रहा है। समकालीन विश्व, भारत की बदलती मनोदशा और सामाजिक परिवर्तन से जुड़े विषयों पर निरंतर चिंतन मनन और लेखन करते रहने ही उनके अध्ययन का उद्देश्य है, पुस्तक इसी जिज्ञासा का एक परिणाम है।

Originally a higher education writer from Allahabad University, Omkar Nath has been guiding candidates appearing for the civil services examinations in Delhi, in addition to regularly writing for various independent newspapers and magazines.
